Stephen Rawls
Training Manager
Stephen looks after the outdoor education training and RTO operations at CRU. Originally from the states, he moved to Australia to work with CRU in 2012 and has been part of the CRU training team since 2017. Stephen has a passion for bouldering and a love for outdoor adventures.
Katelyn Herdman
Training Administrator
Katelyn has been involved in the outdoor recreation industry since 2010 and looks after all our RTO administration and compliance. She loves bouldering, rock climbing & snow boarding and has a passion for connecting outdoor recreation with Christian ministry.
Bonnie Rootes
Training Coordinator
Bonnie Rootes is involved in coordinating Outdoor Recreation training for CRU trainees. She has been involved in the Outdoor Recreation Industry since 2016, and loves helping to build up effective outdoor ministers.
Cameron Veerhuis
Training Coordinator
Cameron loves being outdoors and playing AFL. He began working in outdoor recreation in 2018 and has enjoyed helping young people grow through shared experiences and challenging themselves. As a Training Coordinator, he supports trainees as they connect the outdoors with the message of Jesus.
Emma Deane
Training Coordinator
Emma has been involved with CRU since 2017 and has loved seeing how this ministry has shaped young people to be great outdoor ministers. She loves being outdoors, camping, and snowboarding!
Josh Sloan
Training Coordinator
Josh has been involved with CRU since 2018 and has loved seeing how the outdoors can be used to share the good news of Jesus. Josh loves an outdoor adventure and camping by the beach.
David Yu
Ministry Manager
David Yu is responsible for managing all of the ministry training at CRU Training. He was the minister of a Presbyterian church for over 10 years and has worked as a lecturer in biblical and systematic theology.
Brooke Linton
Ministry Coordinator
Brooke Linton has worked in full time ministry at CRU since 2012. Brooke is involved in training and assessing our trainees in Ministry Training. Brooke has a passion for the outdoors and seeing young people come to know Christ.
Luke Richards
Ministry Coordinator
Luke began working with CRU back in 2020 as a Summit Trainee and has been involved in over 140 camp programs. Luke has recently moved into the Ministry Training Team in order to help equip the next generation of gospel leaders in sharing the gospel. Outside of his work at CRU, Luke has a deep passion for music and the drums alongside his love for AFL football.
