Flexible and fully-customisable school camps

CRU Educational Camps are school camps with purpose. Dedicated Program Coordinators work with every school group to design a camp experience that fulfils the desired goals of and outcomes of the teachers and school. Everything that happens on camp, from the outdoor activities to the games, the night time fun to the Christian Discovery sessions, are intentionally planned to provide a memorable and meaningful school camp experience.

“CRU doesn’t run camps with a one size fits all approach. They get to know your school, your staff and importantly your students as if they were planning to spend the rest of the year with you.”
— Graham Anderson, Principal at Arden Anglican School

CRU leaders run the program

Your students will have an amazing camp experience thanks to the genuine care from our trained and qualified leaders who run the program from wake up to bedtime. The dedicated leaders are passionate about ensuring campers have an amazing experience and seek to get alongside and connect with your students. Through the connections made on camp, students gain the confidence to challenge themselves to try new things and step out of their comfort zones, while having a whole lot of fun in the process. Your students will return to the classroom with increased resilience and confidence.

Since we aim to share the load, you’ll also enjoy spending less time running the camp and more time building relationships with your colleagues and students during the unique out-of-the-classroom experience that camp is.

An ideal environment for exploring faith

During camp, students will have the chance to open the Bible and talk about the claims that Jesus makes about Himself, in a non-confronting and supportive environment. Engaging Christian Discovery sessions are tailored for each group’s age and faith background. These sessions focus on the central message of the Bible and seek to encourage students to explore faith, God and Christianity for themselves. These presentations involve engaging elements such as puppets, skits, songs, challenges, talks and activities.

Students also have the opportunity to ask their leaders questions about their faith. Our leaders are trained in Christian ministry and are sensitive to the varied backgrounds of students.

Amazing camp activities

With access to a wide range of outdoor activities and various campsite locations, including the shores of Lake Macquarie, in picturesque bush settings and beachside campsites, our experienced team of leaders and instructors can create hundreds of unique camp experiences. Schools can partner with CRU to deliver their camp programs year after year, with each year being a distinctly different experience.
