More equipment is needed to keep pace with fast growing camper numbers…

How we can equip CRU Lake Mac

As camper numbers skyrocket, and groups are hosted concurrently at CRU Lake Mac, upgrading and replacing aging equipment is necessary to allow the maximum number of campers to get outdoors and participate in activities where life-changing conversations take place. We need your help to raise $410,000 before June 30!

4 Hobie Sailboats

As our camp numbers continue to increase, and with sailing camps reaching capacity, we need to expand the size of our sailing fleet. Our plan was to replace one sailboat each year - but with growing numbers, we need to expedite this process!

Speedboat Motor

Our speedboat is used on holiday camps to run activities on the lake, like water-skiing and tubing. The motor on the speedboat has exceeded its lifespan and now needs to be replaced - before the upcoming spring Holiday Camps!

Safety Powerboat Replacement

Our current safety powerboat is 20 years old. To ensure we continue safely caring for our campers while they enjoy our water activities, a new safety boat is required.

Floating Pontoons

Set up near the foreshore in front of the Boathouse, these two pontoons will provide temporary mooring for sailboats, canoes and our dragonboat - assisting with logistics and easing congestion on the busy multi-camp days.

Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs)

Each year we assess the lifespan of our PFDs and replace any showing signs of wear and tear. Having up-to-date safety equipment is essential as we consider our duty of care for campers on our sites.

Boathouse Access Path

Currently the Boathouse is only accessible via the foreshore or down the main driveway. This new path is essential to connect the jetty-view side of camp to the Boathouse - allowing guest groups quick and easy access.

Boathouse Kitchen Upgrade

This upgrade would enable the Boathouse to function independently from the main dining hall, for groups participating in water activities all day. Serving meals at the Boathouse will reduce congestion and prevent slippery wet floors in the dining hall.

Electric Buggy

Our maintenance staff need a new vehicle to continue caring for this incredible site, including the foreshore around the aquatic precinct. This electric buggy is an environmentally responsible choice that will serve for years to come.
