HR Generalist / Coordinator

CRU is a Bible-based, interdenominational Christian youth organisation with a mission to help students in independent schools across Australia know and follow Jesus. Through holiday camps, educational camps, and school ministry programs, we impact thousands of young lives every year.
We are seeking a HR Generalist / Coordinator to provide operational and administrative support across key HR functions for the entire organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with HR experience who is passionate about Christian ministry and wants to use their skills to make an eternal impact.
The successful applicant will be based at CRU Lake Mac and report to the HR Manager who is based in Sydney.
What You’ll Do:
Support recruitment and onboarding processes
Manage the HRIS – Employment Hero
Prepare employment contracts and maintain accurate employee records
Assist with compliance, workers compensation, and return-to-work plans
Provide day-to-day HR administration and support
What We’re Looking For:
Mature Christian faith and active involvement in a local church
Agreement with CRU’s Statement of Belief
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
HR qualification (preferred) and 1–3 years’ experience in HR support or coordination
Knowledge of employment legislation and awards highly regarded
Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
